Electricity Turned On and Wood Floors

After several weeks of what seemed like a run-around from the city, we passed our final inspection!  That allowed us to get electricity pulled to the meter and turned on.  With electric turned on, we started up the Air Conditioner units and brought in the wood for the floors to acclimate to the house.  The installers began putting down the floor yesterday.  Things are finally starting to come together.

Last week we got a bit closer to completion when the electrician installed most of the light fixtures and ceiling fans around the house.  The house is still rather dusty and there's no power yet, so the light fixtures look a bit drab.  But here are some photos to give a taste of what they look like.
